Carli Lloyd
From Delran, New Jersey, Lloyd is the all-time leading soccer scor-
ing midfielder and one of the greatest overall goal scorers in U.S.
history. Her many notable goals include the game-winner against
Brazil in the 2008 Olympics; two goals in the gold medal win
against Japan in the 2012 Olympics; and a hat trick in the 2015
World Cup Final. She won back to back FIFA Woman’s World Player
of the Year Awards in 2015 and 2016 (only the second American
and fourth female player to accomplish the feat). Her best selling
memoir, When Nobody Was Watching was published in 2016.
