leadership and my music by
making me take it very seriously
and professionally. I’ve had
to take good care of myself to
make it possible for me to do
everything. I think overall it has
made me a stronger person in
that regard.
Of course it can still be a bur-
den at times to manage it, but
after doing it for seven years it’s
just kind of my way of life now. I
hope that as I start to gain more
recognition I can use my plat-
form to sort of empower other
kids with diabetes and diabetics
to go after what they want to do
and let it be a source of individu-
ality and strength rather than a
hindrance.
