As holiday theatrical traditions
go, one usually has a choice of A
Christmas Carol or The Nutcracker,
but for Middlesex County’s Playsin-the-Park, the holidays have
always meant Joseph and the
Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
This month the group will present
the musical for the 20th consecu-
tive year. Naturally, this being December in the Garden State, the
performances are held indoors
at the historic State Theatre in
New Brunswick. This past summer
Plays-in-the-Park (PIP) completed
their 51st outdoor season at Roosevelt Park Amphitheater, located
just off Route 1 in Edison.
