Dance” goes deep and dense
as does the heavy “Forget” with
strangely enough a memorable hook. “Cease & Desist” is a
more moody piece. “Chop” runs
through a range of snappy to
sturdy progressions. The record
closes with a melodic yet blazing
“Torched”. Kill The Flaw reflects
where Sevendust has been as
they continue expanding their
signature brand of metal.
Madame Mayhem is an eclectic
singer/songwriter from Manhat-
tan. Her fourth album Now You
Know starts off with “Monster”
and “Perfect Nightmare” set a
dark and heavy mood for much
of this record. During “Pain” the
musical vibe shifts from metal to
a softer but still lyrically biting
tone. Madame Mayhem does
not mince words as she powerfully tells her tales of life and
broken relationships. The catchy
“Can’t Stand” and the subtle
“Anyone Who Had A Heart”
are rockers with a dash of pop.
