15 teams created web based solutions and mobile applications
The objective of the Social Innovation Hackathon was to jump-start a project or help an ongoing project take a leap forward. Leaders and experts in gender, technology, business and product development will mentor teams throughout the event to help them better understand the deep rooted challenges facing women and girls in Turkey and in the world. At the end of the event, a prize awarded to the project that has the potential to make the largest impact to one of the four challenges.
