Good day and welcome to your Kingdom Connection for Thursday- January 18th. I pray learning or being refreshed on how the enemy works in our lives is helping you feel more secure in your walk with God. II Corinthians 2:11 warns us not to be ignorant of Satan devices or his schemes. This verse says, when we are ignorant, Satan has an advantage over us. This is vital to realize if we plan to stay on course for the things are divinely assigned to our lives by our King.
On today, the next demon or greater demonic attacks we all will contend with are false teachers and doctrines of demons. When you read the epistles of Paul and Peter they warn us about being on guard about our spiritual alignments, coverings and doctrine. Jesus warns us well in the Gospels. It makes NO difference if we are born again, it makes NO difference to begin desiring the word and getting a word and it makes NO difference if we protect our soil and keep it good so that the seeds being sown can produce 30, 60 and 100 fold IF the church, the leader and the doctrine are all FAULTY! The wrong embassy with an ambassador who was NEVER appointed by the proper authorities, with an incorrect constitution will never be able to help you and will actually hurt you. This will happen both naturally and spiritually. I Timothy 4:16 tells us,
"Take heed to yourself, and to the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this you shall both save yourself, and them that hear you."
and this is on an individual basis. The individual believers are to pay attention (examine, look closely) to ourselves AND our doctrine (our teaching, our communication, or explanations and beliefs about God and His word) just to save ourselves and the ones that hear US.
So what does that mean for an entire congregation of people, the leader and the message from the pulpit 2-3 times per week minimum? You better know Satan knows what it CAN mean if he has his way. So let's look at how we can be deceived by Satan by these 3 means.
WRONG PEOPLE: The late great Myles Monroe said, "When the purpose of a thing is unknown, abuse is inevitable!" How true do we know this to be? The church is an extension and representation of Christ's divine Kingdom here in the earth realm. It is an embassy of Christ's Kingdom. Christ birthed the church so that the saints could worship corporately and execute the Great Commission through the heavenly vision He provides for each embassy through His appointed leader. The church is not the place to run to because we've made a mess of our lives. The church is not the place we are to seek after because we are broke and don't know what else to do. The church is not the place to come when your marriage or boyfriend/girlfriend relationship is falling apart and now you're you are all distraught.
Now we do it all day long! LOL but that is not WHY Christ birthed a church. Those who come to church because of their personal, natural disasters are typically no more than leeches. They get in the presence of God, soak up the prayers and the power of the people of God and then as SOON as their natural disaster is turned around POOF! They are nowhere to be seen UNTIL it happens again.
WRONG LEADERS: The church is responsible for making disciples. Christ selected leaders to equip the SAINTS, not the jacked up, for the work of ministry. (Eph. 4:11) They ensure that the purpose of God, the call of God and the work of God is happening in our lives. Churches that exist based on any other reasons are not authorized embassies or they are violating Christ's orders. So how does this happen? How do we have churches that gather blessing junkies- people that only seek the hand of God but never the face of God? People that see God and His church as a lucky charm. How do we get rows full of people crying and slobbering today but never to return tomorrow? I'll tell you how; it begins with the ambassador. The ambassador MUST be a called person who will feed God's real people with knowledge and understanding. God's real people have given their lives to God. God's real people have submitted their hearts to the rule and reign of the one true King. God's real people espouse "For You I live, and for You I'll die God!". These are the ones who come to church because they desire to be taught how to win the lost and how to pray for the harvest (those souls that are outside of the church praying and begging for a God to turn their ENTIRE life around- not just this one jacked up situation). The ambassador is responsible for helping the saints learn and walk in the gifts from God as listed in Romans 12:7-8 and I Corinthians 12:8-10. The ambassador's teaching and guidance is supposed to shape and mold the sheep/saints into effective delegates and representatives of Christ's Kingdom. So ambassadors that only teach us how to have a better life on earth automatically make us of no use for Christ's eternal, invisible and divine kingdom. We are only being groomed to be greater pawns for the god of this world, who by God's sovereignty, is Satan. Coming to church on the basis of our needs and personal prosperity SOLELY and
