HOW TO CONVINCE YOUR DOCTOR
TO PRESCRIBE A TREATMENT HE
(OR SHE) DOESN’T KNOW ABOUT

My book, HONEST MEDICINE, features four treatments
most doctors don’t know about. They don’t know about
them for two reasons: first, they are not considered the
“standard of care”; and second, the pharmaceutical
industry doesn’t promote them. Yet, these four treatments—and others like them—are (as my book’s subtitle
states) “effective, time-tested, inexpensive.” They are
treatments many patients want to try.
A
nd that’s exactly what happens
when people read my book or
hear me on radio and Internet talk shows. They write and
call, telling me: “I don’t think
my doctor will prescribe xyz
treatment for me. But I really
want to try it.” And often, they say: “Please help me
convince my doctor to prescribe xyz treatment for
me.”

reason for this when
he writes that doctors
are TRAINED and NOT
EDUCATED.
