Mark Nepo is a poet and philosopher
who has taught in the fields of poetry and
spirituality for over 30 years. He is best
known for his New York Times #1 bestseller, The Book of Awakening. He has
published sixteen books and recorded
eleven audio projects, and has just published a new, expanded edition of Inside
the Miracle: Enduring Suffering, Approaching Wholeness (Sounds True, 2015). In it Mark shares his transformative experience of cancer in his mid-thirties, and how it changed the
way he sees the world and made him a student of all spiritual paths.
Although the lessons in this book emerged from his journey through
cancer, they are really for anyone struggling with hardship. Mark
