 In conjunction with the Captain and Co-Captain be authorized as one of the two signatures necessary on checks for payment of club debts. Handicapper       Transmit to computer center according to an established schedule. Enter all new members, corrections and deletions into computer system as needed. Keep all scorecards and records for a period of two years. Present the annual Most Improved Golfer Award. Assist Tournament Chairperson as necessary during tournaments. Post GHIN Master Report monthly for peer review.  Notify new members when their computer handicap and index number are established. PWGA Representative  Act as a liaison between PWGA and Club.  Attend area PWGA Meetings.  Post PWGA Area Playdays and send entries in. Post major PWGA Tournament Fliers. Membership Chairperson (can be appointed)  Keep updated list of all paid members.  Prepare a membership roster.  Receive all member’s dues and renewal forms and report payment options to the handicapper and treasurer.  Forward all funds to Treasurer for deposit.  Send welcome, club roster, and explanatory letter to each new member.  Report new members to the handicapper. Appointed Chairpersons’ Rules Chairperson Keep all local and USGA rules up to date and keep members informed. In case of major question a committee comprising of the Captain, Co-Captain, and Rules Chairperson shall render a decision which shall be final. Article V – ELECTION OF OFFICERS 1. 2. 3. 4. The boa rd or designees shall be the nominating committee. The officers nominated by the committee are listed in Article IV.1 of these By-Laws. Nominations for Officers shall be accepted between August 1-30. The nominating committee shall post the nominees by September 5. The nominating committee’s report shall be read at the September board meeting following which nominations may be made from the floor.
