Twice Monthly – PWGA eNewsletter PWGA sends an eNewsletter to all members on the 14 th and the 30/31 st of the month. The newsletter contains up to date information including Tournaments and events and other happenings in our golf community. PWGA Online Handbook/Directory Individual members of your club will receive access to the online PWGA Handbook annually. This handbook is a very valuable tool to our members. In it you will find contact information for our Executive Board officers, Area Board members, Rules Committee members and Course Raters. You will also find a complete listing of our member clubs, our tournaments, area playdays and team play information. Membership/ Marketing Upon membership approval you will also receive a flyer to post on the bulletin board at your golf course. This informational flyer is designed to help you get new members for your club. You will need to complete the PWGA Representative section for your own club. Remember to talk to the Pro at your golf course and let him/her know the details about your club – who to contact, your playday, membership dues and if you accept junior girl members. Remember to keep a stock of membership forms available at the Pro shop at your course, so they can help you to promote your club.. Welcome Kit Once your club’s application has been processed you will receive the following items:      USGA Handicap Manual and Information for the Handicap Chair PWGA Representative Kit – information for this key position within your club Membership Certificate Website link – if your club has a Website, we will link to your site from ours Flyers relating to upcoming tournaments and events Please review all of the enclosed information and share the information with your members. Once you make a decision to join the PWGA please complete the application form and submit with a check made payable to PWGA to the PWGA office for review. Once the application is processed you will receive a welcome packet. The Area Director for your area will be in touch with you and can answer questions specific to your club.
