With the Rev. Eric Carswell being called to serve as the Bryn Athyn
Pastor, we had some decisions to make regarding our administrative structure.
In consultation with Bishop-Chancellor Brian Keith and in partnership with
Bryn Athyn College, we agreed to distribute the responsibilities previously
managed by Eric and strengthen the local priestly leadership. We have elevated
the position of Chaplain to include more administrative functions and are
very happy that the Rev. Barry Halterman has agreed to take on the increased
opportunities for leadership and administration.
Our admissions team was busy this summer and we are pleased with their
work. We continue to overcome demographic deficits and are beginning the
year with a healthy enrollment of 224 students, which exceeds our budget
forecast. It is very important for us that our enrollment is healthy in more ways
than simple numbers. The boys and girls who are new to ANC are great kids.
We are glad they are part of our wonderful school society and look forward to
all they have to offer.
One of our goals is to become the recognized model in secondary school
education, leading the way in the integration of natural and spiritual knowledge
and complementary gender education. For more than a century, we have been
successful in these efforts, thanks in large part to our educational philosophy
which is firmly rooted in our theology.

scientific evidence for the significant differences in brain chemistry between
