out for a beer or a walk. They may say “no,” but your invitation will mean
something and give them hope for further community.
Today, we all have access to a bewildering amount of information online.
We can find sermons, articles and blogs from every viewpoint and consume
them at any time of day and night. What is nearly impossible to find online
is a sense of community. It is difficult to see and be seen. It is hard to know
that you are not alone, and it is challenging to navigate life without a sense of
community.
I hope you read this with an awareness of my heartfelt intention to
continue to build and support meaningful conversations between all people.
Say a prayer and go for it! Change the old pattern of connection, and step into
a new one. And let me know how it goes.
