I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, who is our Creator, Redeemer and Savior.
I believe that the Lord is essentially Divine Love and Divine Wisdom,
and that the expression of His love and wisdom results in the creation of the
human race.
I believe that we are created life forms capable of receiving the Lord’s
goodness and truth, to the effect that we may feel blessed by their conjunction
in our lives, and that this conjunction results in our desires and actions to be
useful and loving members of the Lord’s kingdom.
I believe that the Old Testament, the New Testament and the Heavenly
Doctrines are given by the Lord for the sake of fostering human development
by providing a connection between people in the world and the angels in
heaven.
My purpose upon entering into the ministry of the Lord’s Church is to be
a servant of His love and wisdom: to teach the truth, and through the truth,
lead people to the goodness of life.
I will dedicate myself to the Lord’s pursuit of a heaven from the human
race. And I believe that this work is accomplished by first shunning evils as
sins against the Lord, followed by learning how to do good.
I will strive to live according to the Ten Commandments, and encourage
others to do this as well, knowing that the Lord is the Way and the Light.
PRAYER
Lord, lead me to serve You and Your purpose.
Teach me how to love You and how to love Your people.
May I always be humble before You,
and work for Your ends, and not my own.
Continue to send to me Your servants,
that I may serve them with the fruit of Your vineyard.
Prune me that I may bear good fruit.
And Lord, grant me the wisdom to walk in Your ways.
