INTERSHIP
The ICS G11 Internship Program is a
personalized true-life experience that has
real impact on and benefit for our students.
Grade 11 students spend a week working in
several local and international companies
and non-governmental organizations. The
internship program provides our students
with an opportunity to pursue their passion
and gain a first-hand experience in the area
of their interests, by working a 40-hour week,
gaining amazing experiences. “We had a
very successful internship week, placing over
53 students in work environments” says Ms.
Siham Omar, CAS Coordinator.
This year the students took internship
positions in various fields including design
and coding, medical sciences, banking and
mental health, event organizing, hospitality
and humanitarian work, in NGOs and private
companies like UNICEF, The Hyatt Regency,
St. Yared Hospital, UNHCR, Zemen Bank,
Hilton Hotel, ICS Depts., Sitota Medical
Center and
many others.
