DESIGNING OF A DECK
Our designs are derived from the surf culture and the shaping designs of legend surfboard shaper Jeff Ho. His groundbreaking designs in surfboards in the 1970’s are legendary and have a distinct impression on what we do today. Simplicity in function is also a phrase we adhere to while designing a new deck.
So many boards out there are unique in design yet lack a lot of forethought into the functionality or the attention to rider’s stances and centering. Nevada Decks accounts for rider’s basic riding centering and leveraging for both free ride and downhill racing. Many hours we have studied rider’s styles, stances and leveraging. This is pertinent to designing a board that is both functional and comfortable. Understanding the physics is all about designing a great board.
