BEAR YUBA LAND TRUST: Five thousand
acres of wildlife habitat, forests, range lands
and riparian corridors have been conserved
by the land trust. It has also built 22 miles of
community trails and created 250 acres of
public accessible space. Among programs
held through the year are children’s summer
camps, Arm Chair Hikes, Treks on Tuesday
and a series of hikes with knowledgeable
leaders called Treks Though Time.

12.5 miles west on
Hwy. 20 toward Marysville. Turn left from
Hwy. 20 onto Smartsville-Hammonton Road.

Continue 1.8 miles on Waldo Road to the
Waldo Bridge, cross the bridge, continue to
the l
