EMPIRE MINE STATE HISTORIC PARK: Twelve
miles of trails that range from easy to an
all-day exploration. Hardrock, Osborn Hill
and Union Hill Trails all pass the remains of
former mining operations. See Page 22 for

CONDON PARK: Eighty acres, hiking trails
(info at bylt.org), disc golf course, arboretum, playground, pond, skate park, picnic
areas, on-leash dog trail, off-leash dog park.
Entrance on Minnie Street off Butler Street.
MEMORIAL PARK: Playground, picnic areas,
swimming pool, Veterans’ Memorial Wall.
Colfax Hwy. a few minutes from downtown
Grass Valley.
LITTON TRAIL: Two miles one way, easy and
popular. Trailhead: Hughes Road, ¼ mile
south of Ridge Road, street parking. Can
also be accessed where trail crosses Sierra
College Drive near Fire Station ¼ mile from
East Main Street.

DEVERE MAUTINO COMMUNITY PARK:
Playground, walking trail, picnic tables.
Alta Street between West Main Street and
Ridge Road.
Golf/Tennis
KENNY RANCH TRAILS: Wildflower Ridge
Trail 0.9 mile, Rough & Ready Ditch Trail 1.0
mile. Both easy. Full loop using both 2.6
miles. Trailheads near intersection of the
Rough & Ready Hwy. and Ridge Road, 1.4
miles from downtown Grass Valley.

Semi-private, 9 holes. Entrance 1040 E.

TENNIS COURTS: Memorial Park, Devere
