In addition , the provision of housing and services for young families will contribute to the revitalization , development and economic stability of Israel ' s southern region .
The residences will be divided into two types : those suitable for professional staff with families , and separate units to house volunteers , paramedical students completing their field work at the village , and National Service girls / pre-army service volunteers , who supplement the staff .
Completion of the Staff Residences Project is tentatively scheduled for December 2017 .
