Cable Test for Less by
Choosing the Right Care Plan
For data cable installers and technicians buying or using a cable
certifier, it’s important to choose a care plan that provides a low cost
of ownership while helping to reduce downtime. To give installers
complete protection from unforeseen costs, IDEAL Networks has
launched the new Sapphire Care Plan, which helps to minimise costs
and maximise productivity when using LanTEK II / III cable certifiers.
The new plan offers a comprehensive support package, specially
designed to help installers and technicians to manage costs by
protecting against the cost of unforeseen repairs. In the unlikely event
that repair is needed, both the LanTEK II / III cable certifier and any
accessories are covered for standard repairs within the cost of the plan.
As an added benefit, the Sapphire Care Plan also includes free
online training. This ensures that installers and their customers can
benefit from maximum productivity and efficiency when using
the LanTEK II /III certifier. If technical support is needed, this can
also be easily arranged at no charge with IDEAL Networks’ expert
technicians.
The Sapphire Care Plan is available for all LanTEK II and LanTEK
III certifiers less than 5 years old. If purchased within 60 days of
buying a new certifier, a 10% discount is applied. Prices for the care
plan start from £715 per year. n
The new olsondirect.co.uk from Olson Electronics
Olson Electronics have recently released their new website to enable purchasing of their products online for the
very first time. The website is a significant improvement
from their previous version and has been released in-line
with their 55 years of British manufacturing celebration.
With Olson being the market leader of PDUs and highly
regarded within the industry, I can already see this will be
welcomed by all of Olson’s current and future customers.
While offering the largest PDU product range on the
market, it can often be difficult to pinpoint the one
product a customer requires for a specific application and
the new website overcomes this. Olson has responded to
customer feedback, making this task quicker and easier.
The website caters for quick navigation to the socket,
plug/inlet, orientation or switching requirement you’re
looking for within a power distribution unit, with further
filtering to find the exact product thereafter. You can
view their individual ranges or just show every product
listed and filter down from there. It also has an advanced
search to lookup all of the attributes of a PDU you need
and display the results immediately.
Although it only showcases Olson’s standard products,
their bespoke service is still prominent within the site,
offering an immediate messaging service to their own sales office. Every product includes information to
answer the majority of questions. n
