ENCLOSURE, RACKS & CABINETS Recessed back box mounting brackets from Future Automation Peerless-AV unveils Rotational Mount Interface With screens getting slimmer and slimmer, Future Automation says it has recognised the need for slimmer articulated mounting brackets that still provide the functionality and support of deeper and more heavy duty hardware. The company has developed its SB40 and SB55 pull and turn service brackets which, by the use of a recessed back box, allow screens to be mounted 13mm from the wall while still allowing up to 395mm of forward movement and 45° of bi-directional swivel. Built-in articulated cable management chain, along with top and bottom cable entry options into the back box help to reduce the usual problems encountered when fitting screens to ultra slim wall mounts. Suitable for screens from 40in to 75in, the SB40 and SB55 brackets are fully compatible with Future Automation’s Vertical Offset Adaptor, which enables super slim screens with very low down VESA patterns to be mounted at a sensible height onto any VESA compatible bracket. Peerless-AV has launched its new Rotational Mount Inter faces for wall mounts (RMI2W), and trolleys and stands (RMI2C). The company says that these two solutions are a further development of the rotational DS-VWM7 70 video wall mount introduced in 2015, which was a market leading development addressing the requirement to switch displays between portrait and landscape orientation, without the need to remove the display. ‘Our new RMI2 range builds on the innovation of the initial 2015 model, with added versatility and functionality,’ says Keith Dutch, managing director, Peerless-AV EMEA. ‘The Rotational Mount Interfaces enable installers and end users to take single displays, video walls, trolleys and stands to the next level by providing an endless array of design possibilities.’ Both RMI2W and RMI2C mount inter face models are compatible with multiple Peerless-AV wall mounts, trolleys and stands for quick and simple conversion into tool-less rotational solutions that allow endless screen positioning. The mount inter faces are tamper resistant and ideal for standard or creative digital signage displays. They suppor t a maximum load of 79kg and allow a display to be quickly and easily rotated in 15° increments within 360° total rotation. Adding less than 25mm (on RMI2C model) and 33mm (on RMI2W model) to overall depth, they can also be stored in por trait to save space and protect the displays from accidental damage. The company says its stackable skeleton racks provide installers with maximum height configuration flexibility from 15U to 40U; plus the benefits of minimum stock holding and storage space requirements as the entire structure, complete with screws, removable shelves and blanking panels, ships in one UPS box. Fully modular and stackable, models CFR1615 (15U) and CFR1620 (20U) can be combined to make five different height combinations, 40U, 35U, 30U, 20U and 15U. They are designed specifically for ease of use and installation speed – around 15 minutes per rack. For situations where with high quality performance and ‘over- engineered’ structural integrity are required, or the rack will be visible in a room, the Component Series racks provide the per fect solution. The Sanus Component series racks are made from heavy gauge welded steel and are supplied pre-assembled, complete with blanking panels and vented shelves, which include backstops to ensure equipment does not move during use. Quick release back and side panels allow complete and total access to components and wiring. Available in 85-inch (44U), 70.5-inch (36U), 55-inch (27U) and 34-inch (15U) heights, the largest of the four models can support up to 453kg of equipment.
