Amongst the added features to the Sliding Drawer Panels is the ball-bearing runner functionality , giving smoother operation and more rigidity , making the whole panel more robust when installed . What ’ s more , finger pulls are included on the front of the panel panel and the use of recessed , flangeless adaptors create increased space for port and panel labelling , whilst also making the panel facia more aesthetically pleasing . The enhanced ENBEAM fibre panels also feature an optional patch cord management bar with a hinged front plate for ease of access . Behind this front plate is a full width , full height labelling field to ensure that the equipment is as efficient as possible . The management bar can be easily attached and removed as required , adhering to the Excel promise of flexibility . The new panels are offered with coloured adapters corresponding to the OM1 , OM2 , OM3 , OM4 and OS2 fibre types . These modifications have all been made to the previous sliding drawer model , yet the price of the enhanced version has not increased to reflect the improvements , demonstrating Excel ’ s commitment to its customers to provide a world class premium performance end-to-end infrastructure solution – without compromise .

The ENBEAM Sliding Drawer Panel is not the only product to benefit from an upgrade . Further additions to Excel ’ s fibre portfolio include the new Enbeam Fibre Panel – 1U 19in 12-cassette high density panel that provides an expandable and innovative cassette based patching solution . The Enbeam 1U 144 Fibre LC Angled Panel provides high-density LC patching offering 72 ports / 144 fibres in 1U . Its angled design negates the need for additional patch cord management , further increasing the potential density of this system . The Enbeam LC Uniboot patch cords provide excellent performance in a compact design , to further broaden the functionality of the product range in high-density installations .
