Black Box just introduced a new line of practical , durable and easy-to-roll Server Racks that are strong enough to stand

up to daily use . These racks allow easy mounting of servers , network switches , PDUs , UPSes , KVM switches and other rack-mountable test equipment .

With these racks it ’ s possible to roll equipment under standard- or standingheight desks and with cable management hooks included , users will also get the open space they need to easily organise cables and power cords , making it easier to trace cords and potential problems .

The Black Box line of Open Frame Server Racks can hold up to 680 kg of IT equipment , being test , diagnostic and / or electrical equipment . The 19 ” racks with M6 rails come in two types : 2-post or 4-post rack models , made for extreme versatility . 2-post racks can hold up to 450 kg whereas 4-post racks manage up to 680 kg of IT equipment . Both come in two heights , 11U or 19U , to fit under standard-height ( 63.5 cm ) desks or standing-height ( 97.8 cm ) desks . All of

the Black Box Open Frame Server Racks feature a 50.8 x 50.8 cm bottom shelf for additional equipment storage . The heavyduty racks are constructed of 14-gauge steel and have double casters which roll smoothly over thresholds , uneven floors , carpets and rough surfaces .

Designed to hold servers , network switches , power distribution units , KVM switches and other rack-mountable equipment , Black Box aims to provide unobstructed airflow and fast access to IT equipment , allowing for a tidy organised desk . When it is time to work , users can just wheel the rack out and wheel it back when finished .
