KLIM REVoLT PULLOVER
Hands down the best riding of the season is here! October brings cool temperatures and picturesque views which makes for epic riding conditions. That also means it can be pretty brisk for 9 AM key time at an Enduro, or when an afternoon trail ride ends up going late into the evening. Your vented jersey doesn’t cut it this time of year. Fortunately for us New England riders Klim has a perfect solution; the Revolt Pullover Jersey.
The Revolt jersey is light and free feeling with elastic cuffs like a normal jersey, but features wind resistant fabric that is treated to shed water. Being treated to shed water rather then being made with a waterproof membrane (ex: Gore-Tex) the material doesn’t lose its breathability. The ¼ length zipper makes it easy to get on and off over riding gear and is great for ventilation when temperatures warm up mid ride.
We’ve been putting the Revolt pullover to the test since last fall and have found that it is the perfect addition to your gear bag. We like to wear it over a regular jersey and chest protector. It doesn’t feel bulky like a jacket but keeps the wind and moisture out. We raced some early season motos with it and regularly wear one to get our week day riding in before the store opens in the morning.
