the fender and the shock working. Almost everyone that rides it for the first time stops to make sure the rear shock isn’t falling out of the chassis! Of course it’s not, but you’ve never heard anything like that before. From a sensory stand point riding the Freeride E-XC is an awful lot more like riding a mountain bike than riding an off-road motorcycle. The bike has three power modes. KTM calls them Economy, Enduro, and Cross. Honestly Economy mode is not impressive at all. Enduro mode has a smooth and linear power curve. Even at wide open throttle its very manageable. And Cross mode is all the power all the time! We rode the bike in Cross mode most of the time and were very impressed by the power. This bike makes more torque then KTM’s 350 motocross bike. Which power mode you are using will greatly affect the charge state of the battery, directly affecting ride time. The lack of a clutch
