RIDER PROFILE

What does it take to become an A rider?

Dirt bike riding is a great sport whether you do it for recreation or competition racing. Riding and racing is physically demanding at all levels. It takes a lot of seat time and cross training like running and biking to advance and be competitive at a high level. Also, having mental strength and determination to not give up and to keep pushing.

What's your favorite NETRA event?

There are several events throughout the years that come to mind when I think of favorite events but the one that stands out the most is CATRA. The course offers many types of terrain that are technical and challenging. There are a lot of hill climbs and rocky sections as well as fast sections. They have a large piece of property where they can set up a great course.

You recently purchased Paradox MX. What made you want to be a track owner?

Owning property and a track was something I had always wanted to do. Being a member of the Pathfinders and helping them put on NETRA events is a lot of fun and a lot of work. It's a nice way to give back and contribute to the sport of dirt bike racing. In 2016 and 2017 we hosted the Pathfinders "Little Town" Pee-Wee event at our home in Bethlehem, CT. That made me want to find a piece of property where I could host larger events. I came across Paradox MX in Granville, NY which was for sale. It was a beautiful piece of property on the NY/VT border with a fully functional motocross track. I was familiar with the area and the rest is history.
