6. WP XACT. KTM and WP have reworked their AER fork and linkage shock combo, branding the latest version WP XACT. XACT refers to the shock and fork combination on all cross country and motocross bikes. Although the principle is the same, the settings for the AER fork are totally revised for 2020.
7. Reworked cooling and radiators. Along with the new chassis came new mounting of the radiators. The biggest change came in mounting the radiators 12 mm lower on the chassis, effectively lowering the center of gravity. The center cooling hose is now 4 mm larger in diameter creating better flow between radiators translating to a cooler running machine.
8. All new 2 stroke exhaust eye candy. Do yourself a favor and go check out the all new exhaust on the 2020 250 and 300 models. The head pipe is all new, sporting a heavy duty 3D stamping process giving the pipe a ripped, cone type look. The 3D stamping creates a more ridged structure that is resistant to denting from trail debris, while also reducing engine noise. The silencers are also newly designed; no more plastic mounts!
9. KTM 85 Big Wheel. Back for 2020, the KTM 85SX is now available from the factory as a big wheel (19/16). That’s 2 wheel options from both brands. With a factory 105 cc kit available as an accessory.
10. Electric MINI Bikes. Little is known at this point, but the first of KTM and Husqvarna Electric Mini bikes are scheduled to arrive this Fall. The electric bikes are based on the 50SX chassis. More on this to come!
