By being selected into the Netball Dorset Development Satellite Academy, you are asked to note our Academy guidelines, as outlined below>
It is anticipated that all players and parents/guardians will agree to the terms for the duration of the programme. Failure to comply with these guidelines could result in suspension or withdrawal from the Academy.
PLAYER
I agree to:
Be fully affiliated to the Netball governing bodies
Attend all training sessions
If injured, still attend training sessions (unless Coach has agreed absence)
If unable to attend, to notify a Coach as early as possible
Give training my full commitment
Keep my fitness at the required level
Pay fees punctually
Wear appropriate training and match kit
Not smoke, drink alcohol or take any banned susbstances at any time
Be considerate to others and demonstrate the correct attitude and behaviour
Raise any issues/questions through my Coach/Welfare Officer
DORSET NETBALL ACADEMY
Agrees to:
Ensure the Coaches are fully qualified
Ensure the Coaches have valid CRB/DBS certificates
Follow the England Netball Code of Conduct and Safeguarding policies
Ensure appropriate and safe sessions are delivered by the Coaches
Ensure the Coaches assume full responsibility for the players whilst in their care
Notify players of any changes in the training or playing schedules
Ensure Coaches provide feedback to players on performance when and where appropriate
