FROM THE DESIGNER:“ Located in one of Providence’ s most desirable neighborhoods, this East Side entry was designed to make a lasting first impression, inviting guests in while seamlessly connecting the distinct personalities of the surrounding rooms. The homeowners envisioned a warm, welcoming space that could showcase their vibrant art collection and reflect their eclectic style in a meaningful way. Drawing inspiration from the adjacent spaces, the design features a bold color story of navy, brown and green that brings unity and depth. Classic architectural elements like paneling and wainscoting were enhanced to honor the home’ s traditional character, and a hidden powder room door was seamlessly integrated to preserve the clean lines of the millwork. Pocket doors were added to the office to increase privacy without disrupting visual flow. A high-gloss pedestal table grounds the room and invites gathering, complemented by patterned ottomans that offer flexible seating. Every element was selected to strike a balance between polished and personal. The result is a foyer that doesn’ t just welcome— it sets the tone, tells a story and allows the homeowners’ art and personality to take center stage from the moment you step inside.”
