FROM THE DESIGNER : “ Great rooms start with great partnerships between the designer and client . It ’ s a collaboration of ideas and trust ensuring that the execution will realize the client ’ s vision . For their waterfront property , our clients wanted a coastal look to complete their living room renovation , and we knew the view was the star . Rope back chairs offer a nautical nod and make a visual statement , while the indoor / outdoor sofa fabric will stand up to the New England summer sun . A second seating area facing the original stone fireplace offers intimate seating for two and flexibility when family is in town . With the portable upholstered cubes and an ottoman , there is a spot for everyone . We are spoiled to work with such lovely clients and in locations with so much natural beauty . It was a pleasure from start to finish .”
