Custom cornices frame and structure the floor-to-ceiling windows . Rounding out the space is a geometric brass-trimmed statement pendant above the table to give off a soft luminescence .
With family in mind , the Blakely team redesigned the living room with plenty of seating : two pale blue sofas , green swivel stools and a custom cane bench , all upholstered in performance fabrics to stand up to life with young grandchildren and pets . It ’ s perfect for gathering to watch a movie , play a game or relax and catch up with family and friends . The fireplace serves as the focal point , with beautiful millwork crafted by Rome Point Woodworking . The reeded detail extends up the height of the fireplace with a quartz surround and satin brass hardware . Chinoiserie draperies frame the sliding door , while two large scale abstract portraits hang next to the baby grand piano , tying the colors of the room together .
While intentional pops of color express the couple ’ s personalities throughout the main common areas , they didn ’ t stop there . The master suite boasts a bright cobalt bed , drawing you in along with coral accents from table lamps , throws and Roman shades . For a more natural element , a textured grasscloth lines the walls to temper the energetic hues and provide an added coastal feel . The design of the custom built-in matches that in the living room , offering plenty of storage behind the sliding doors .
