FROM THE DESIGNER : “ Setting the tone for the rest of the home , the front entry of this newly built summer oasis serves up a grand first impression . Honoring our client ’ s desire for a bright and bold design aesthetic , we selected this statementmaking green wallpaper — Zig Zag by Quadrille — to adorn the walls of the foyer . For cohesion and harmony , various shades of green can be found in each adjoining space and throughout the rest of the home . The finishing touch is a unique installation of porcelain tiles , seamlessly connecting each room on the lower level .
Through the left doorway , the foyer opens up to the downstairs den , with direct access out to the water . Further down the hall is a guest suite , laundry room and mudroom . To retreat to the upper levels , choose to take the beautifully built staircase or the elevator !”
