Materials and designs are constantly changing to make spaces simultaneously functional, comfortable and beautiful. That’s where Greenville Kitchen and Bath comes in. A leader in Rhode Island renovation and design for more than thirty years, the full-service remodeler has a reputation for combining creativity and common sense. “Some of our clients are looking for the latest trends, but most are looking for a kitchen that will maintain its beauty for the next twenty years,” explains designer Lyndsey Laramee. “Given our years of experience in design and construction, we’re able to bring a higher level of detail than others.” Greenville’s team also focuses on getting clients back to their normal lives. “We have a team of staff carpenters,” says owner Eric Anderson. “We pride ourselves on having everything on-site before we start the job, so we can get in and out quickly and make it as convenient as possible for our clients.” This was the case for the pictured northern Rhode Island home. The homeowners wanted to modernize their kitchen, a prominent part of their home which was divided by a wall. They enjoy cooking and entertaining and needed to combine form and function. Lead by designer Lyndsey Laramee, the Greenville Kitchen and Bath team not only masterfully opened up the space by knocking down the wall, but also rearranged the layout and design so that it was more conducive to the homeowners’ lifestyle. They installed a larger island concept, all new appliances, custom cabinetry, granite countertops and beautiful hardwood flooring. The homeowner was thrilled with the process and the result: “It came together more beautifully than we imagined. The space is open and bright, and everything is where it should be. Everything happens around the island, from breakfast in the morning to prep for holiday meals and wine with friends.” “We also included a couple of neat, modern-day additions, like concealing a television in one of the cabinets,” says Laramee. “Working closely with our clients and including them in the design process allows us to understand how they will use the space and what they value most.” Always on top of current material and design trends, Greenville Kitchen and Bath’s Smithfield showroom offers a sample of available product lines. Walking in, customers can expect to find breathtaking, quality products for every budget. From custom cabinets and countertops to backsplashes, hardware, flooring, paint and wall-paper samples and plumbing fixtures — it’s easy to be inspired to design your own space.
