after becoming a PYP candidate

school, we believe that arts education is an
inseparable part of PYP.
Art is a powerful form of communication
that helps the students understand the
world around them. It provides them with
moments of creativity and a continuous
cycle of actions and thinking to perform
experiments. In this respect, the students
develop an interest in the work they have
accomplished. As a result, they gain the
opportunity to become good critical
thinkers.
In this month’s 1st grade Visual Arts class,
we did activities on “Discipline” with
regards to “Japan” and under the theme
“WHO WE ARE”.
