THURSDAY EVENING
DIRECTORS AND TRUSTEES RECEPTION AT
HIGHFIELD HALL & GARDENS
Come enjoy some live music while sampling some of Cape Cod’s fabulous fare. We
will be providing libations from a local brew master and be pouring some red, white
or sparkling wine. There is something for everyone here, whether if you are a history
buff, a naturalist, an art lover, or you just want to relax with some friends. You will
appreciate the history of this lovingly restored 1878 mansion, while sitting by the fire
with a cocktail before setting out for dinner on your own in downtown Falmouth. We
are just minutes away from down town Main Street and have plenty of parking. We
look forward to welcoming you to Falmouth!

discovery, and fun! Climb aboard our pirate ship, explore the ocean depths in a
submarine, step into adventure on the green screen, try out a variety of musical
instruments, create art, solve brain teaser puzzles, and so much more! Light
refreshments will be served.

A VISIT WITH THE NIGHT WATCHMAN
Each Halloween season, the 1790 Dr. Francis Wicks House in Falmouth transforms.
Rooms in the historic house and in various locations on the outside grounds
have lurking spirits involved with situations and scenes based on Falmouth’s
history, legend, and fantasy. Visitors, in groups not exceeding six at a time, are
guided around the grounds by a night watchman who is familiar with the ongoing
behavior of local ghosts and memories. Consider it a haunted house with an
historic message! In addition, local author Barbara Sillery will be at the venue to
tell ghost stories from her book “The Haunting of Cape Cod and the Islands”.
Time: 5:30 – 8:00 pm. Registration fee of $40 includes transportation,
light refreshments, wine, and mulled cider.
