Educators PAG Lunch
As educators, our work is incredibly diverse. We may
be out in the galleries, working with students. We
may be in our offices, writing interpretive text. We
may be out in the community, building partnerships.
Join us for round-table discussions to unpack current
trends, fundamental issues, and ubiquitous buzzwords
with fellow educators on the ground. Ask questions,
offer advice, and connect with a community who can
continue to be resources, allies, and supporters long
after we leave the conference.
PAG Co-chairs: Elisabeth Nevins, Principal, Seed
Education Consulting, MA; Phillippa Pitts, Associate
Educator for Gallery Learning & Interpretive Media,

HR and Volunteer Management PAG Lunch
Every day, in your role working with staff or
volunteers, you hear about what other people need.
This PAG lunch is an opportunity for you to share
with your colleagues what you need. What would
make your day to day easier at your institution? What
questions remain unanswered? What problems seem
insurmountable right now? We’ll pool our collective
resources and wisdom to provide all attendees with
one step, big or small, to make their work days more
manageable.
Co-chairs: Nicole Claris, Manager of School Programs,
Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; Purvi Patwari, Director
of Human Resources, Isabella Stewart Gardner
Museum, MA

Natural History and Science PAG
Join fellow colleagues for a roundtable
lunch discussion at the first ever NHS PAG meeting.
We welcome anyone interested in learning more
about topics like science education, science-
themed exhibition design, and the care and use of
natural history collections. We will discuss the role
this PAG can play in supporting networking and
collaborative projects across New England’s diverse
science museums. We will also provide updates from
large conferences we might not all be able to attend.

until retirement, mid-career pros second-guessing
their career choice, and interns desperately trying to
break into the field are all invited to join the discussion
and a juice-box toast with colleagues!
