About NEFC

NEFC has a rich history within the premier soccer community. Over its 20 year history the club has rapidly grown its membership, state of the art facilities, and professional staff. NEFC was founded in 1992 as Tri-Valley United, “TVU”. In 2002, the club merged with the Eagles Soccer Club and changed its name to the Tri-Valley Eagles, “TVE”. In 2006, TVE merged once again with Spirit of Massachusetts and until 2009 was named the New England Eagles FC. In the last 5 years NEFC has merged with both FC PUMA and Grasshopper FC as well as expanding geographically into both the south shore and south coast of Massachusetts. Through both internal growth and acquisitions NEFC has more than tripled its membership and now has over 1500 players.

Since 2007 NEFC has built a well-integrated Youth Structure (Regional Development Center or RDC) for players aged 5-11 years old with the goal of developing highly competent players while also providing a fun, safe and professional environment to build players passions for the game. NEFC trains well over 400 RDC players throughout the regions in close proximity to players’ neighborhoods.

NEFC trains in various locations throughout the metro north, central Massachusetts, south shore and south coast regions, which allows for convenient accessibility for the serious soccer player. With over 100 teams NEFC provides the opportunity for premier players to train and compete under the NEFC umbrella over a vast geography. The club has worked hard over its 20+ year history to provide the best product and brand leapfrogging many of its more established competitors.

NEFC is a non-for-profit 501(C)(3) organization
