OUR OWN INSTRUMENTS and the progress of the (Castañeda & Espinosa, 2008) students 1.Surveys Considering the previous theoretical background, the purpose of the needs analysis and the target population we will work with, the categories to take into account at the moment of designing our own instruments are: 1. Learning needs 2. Language needs 3. Social needs This tool is of great mportance due to “ it lets the teacher know the students’ preferences, likes, dislikes and their opinion of their learning process which they are involved. (Castañeda & Espinosa , 2008). The surveys are useful tools because it is easy to quantify and measure the answers. Learning needs 2.
