1. Can you tell us about your journey in the NDIS sector and what inspired you to become an entrepreneur in this field?
Rainbow Support Services was born from recognising a crucial gap in the NDIS sector- the need for truly inclusive support services, particularly for the LGBTQI + community. Our journey began in Melbourne, focussing on creating a safe, welcoming environment for all participants whilst offering comprehensive NDIS services.
2. What challenges did you face when starting your business, and how did you overcome them?
Like many start-ups in the NDIS sector, we faced initial challenges in establishing our presence and building trust within the community. One of our main challenges was balancing our identity as an LGBTQI + friendly service whilst ensuring we remained welcoming to all participants. We overcame this by focussing on inclusive messaging and maintaining high-quality service standards across all our offerings.
