We need YOU, in order for the NCSTIIID to truly serve as the voice for English Learners.

The NCSTIIID Work Groups are designed to offer members an outlet for their passions and talents.

Do you enjoy research? Publishing on social media? Organizing meetings?

Let us know what your passion is and how you would like to server by completing the interest SURVEY. If you do not find a work group that fits your passion, suggest one!

All work groups have areas of overlap and will work together as needed to achieve the goals of the NCSTIIID, serving as the voice for English Learners.

Current Work Groups

Inquiry Work Group:

Members of the Inquiry work group will work with the President-Elect and Legislative Liaison to collect and share research pertinent to English Learners, determine what the field is interested in regards to ELs , as well as develop and share strategies for advocacy. The group will be broken into smaller more focused sub-groups including but not limited to:

1. Advocacy

2. Outreach

3. Research

Communications Work Group:

Members of the Communications Work Group will work with the President-Elect on all aspects of council communications. The group will be broken into smaller more focused sub-groups including but not limited to:

1.Web site

2.Social Media

3. Newsletter

National Meeting Work Group:

Members of National Meeting Work Group will work with the Vice President on all aspects of the annual National Meeting. The group will be broken into smaller more focused sub-groups including but not limited to:

1.Program Agenda

2.Conference Sponsors

3. Conference Recruitment

4.Registration
