Nights of 1,000 Lights Holiday Celebration Returns to Sherman Library & Gardens This December

We ’ re almost in November , which means some of us are already shouting “ Hooray for the Holidays !”
But at Sherman Library & Gardens , their motto this December is “ Hooray for Hollywood ,” because that ’ s the theme for this year ’ s annual Nights of 1,000 Lights , a spectacular display of holiday lights and live music that takes place for 11 nights throughout the gardens .
According to the folks at Sherman Library & Gardens , visitors enter Sherman Gardens on the red carpet and stroll through the glistening light tunnel , on your way to “ Moulin Rouge ,” a Parisian dance hall in the Tea Garden featuring can-can dancers and French cabaret singers .
Take pics by a classic 1938 Packard 120 Convertible Sedan , compliments of Packards International Motor Car Club . Experience the historic Hollywood Hills recreated with images from the Sherman Library archives .
Venture through the “ Sherman Shop of Horrors ,” and encounter “ Trouble in Paradise ” in the Tropical Conservatory .
Visit Santa in his “ Miracle on PCH ” workshop . Then head to the fire pit to whip up your own batch of s ’ mores .
The Garden Shop will be open and is a must-see for unique holiday gift ideas . You can also make a wish at “ The Wishing Tree .”
Tickets to Nights of 1,000 Lights are on sale now . Tickets are $ 25 for members , $ 35 for non-members . Children 3 and under are free .
The dates for Nights of 1,000 Lights are December 9-11 , and December 15 through 22 .
The event takes place from 6 to 9 p . m . each of those nights .
