Taking an elevated twist on classic Mexican cuisine , TOMMY BAHAMA RESTAURANT & BAR is offering special dishes that can be paired with new tequila cocktails through Nov . 17 at all locations including the one in Corona del Mar Plaza . The eatery ’ s La Comida & Tequila menu includes spinach and sunchoke enchiladas with salsa verde ; Duroc pork carnitas flautas with apple slaw ; aguachile with Peruvian bay scallops , Argentinian red shrimp and halibut ; and a seafood pozole verde , which is a soup containing clams , scallops and halibut in green chile and clam broth . Wash it down with the Spa Day Margarita , featuring blanco tequila , avocado , agave and lime with a Tajín rim ; My Manzana , with reposado tequila , mezcal , cinnamon syrup , crisp apple and lemon ; Dancing in the Dark , a version of the espresso martini made with reposado tequila , espresso and Liquor 43 liqueur ; and Tres A ’ s , which is dark and smoky with extra anejo tequila , amaretto and chocolate bitters .
