A Message from the Superintendent

Welcome to our first issue of the Bronco Academic E-Magazine for the 2017-2018 school year. We plan on publishing the Bronco Academic E-Magazine at the beginning of each month during the school year (September-June). Our goal is to communicate and share with you the awesome academic programs we provide for all of our students. We have initiated a number of new academic programs for the school year to meet the needs of each student in the educational process. One example includes the COMPASS program (Creating Opportunities to Meet Potential and Stretch Skills) in the elementary school for gifted and talented students. Another example is the Biomedical Science class added this year in the high school. A third example is the new Vocational Independence Program (VIP) for special needs students in our district.

Those are just a few examples of how we are meeting the needs of our students. Throughout this first issue of the Bronco Academic E-Magazine, you will read about numerous new programs and educational initiatives in each of our buildings. I want to thank our community for your continued support of North Branch Area Schools. As many of you know, our district has adopted the theme “All In” and our team of educators is committed to providing an excellent education for all students. Every stakeholder in our school district – teachers, parents, principals, school board members, school counselors, bus drivers, custodians and other professionals – plays a vital role in helping students succeed. We believe working in partnership with each other is the best way to ensure all students reach their full potential.

We have had a great start to the new school year. I also invite you to sign up for our Bronco Athletic E-Magazine that will be published during the fall, winter, and spring seasons on a weekly basis. You will find a link to the magazine on the front page of our website.

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to work with your children. Please contact me at 810-688-3570 if you have any questions regarding North Branch Area Schools.
