Business Professionals of America
The Business Professionals of America, or BPA, chapter of NBHS sent leadership candidates to Northwood University on September 28 as special guests of the Distinguished Women in Business event. Seven honorees were featured in a panel discussion, followed by round table visits with students. Northwood also hosted a Leadership Workshop for attending students. Honrees included: Bobbie Arnold, President and CEO of the Charles J. Strosacker Foundation; Lisa Phillips, Principal of Cass Tech High School; Mary Callahan Lynch, founder of Motor City Lyric Opera; Annette Rummel, President/CEO Great Lakes Bay Area Convention and Visitors Bureau; Karen S. Carter, Chief Inclusion Officer Dow Chemical; Linda Schinkel Rodney, Founder, General & Counsel and Artist of Shinkle Fine Art; and
Dolly Plaster Clement, Executive Director of the Robert W. Plaster Foundation.
The BPA leadership team then participated in the state of Michigan BPA Fall Leadership Conference in Lansing on October 5. Inspiration and training for collaboration and success!
