STARTS OCTOBER 9! Door Decorating: October 9th-19th. The winner of the contest will be announced at the end of the day on October 19th. Please have your door ready for judging no later than the beginning of the 5th hour class period on October 19th. I attached the rubric which is the same as last year. The winning prize will be $150 order from Amazon for the teacher to choose, for their classroom.

Tuesday, October 17th
Theme: All Staff wear a shirt indicating what college they attended, and jeans if they choose. Students should wear college/military or work related shirts.
Seniors will go to Quest from 7:45-10 am for “Promoting Your Future." It will be a fair like event for students to gain information on career readiness testing, FSAID, scholarships, and be able to meet with representatives from armed forces, trade schools, apprenticeship programs, colleges, and universities.

Wednesday, October 18th-
Theme: All staff wear the college they cheer for shirt and jeans. College Fight songs played during each passing time.
College Application Day. Counseling office staff will be assisting students with applying to college.
Thank you Bryan's Market for donating cider and doughnuts to the entire senior class.
Bingo Activity begins. The first 250 completed BINGO cards will receive a candy bar when they return it to the counseling office.

Theme: The Great Divide (green vs. blue) all staff wear both Michigan or Michigan State colors and jeans of course.
Scholarship day. Counseling office staff will be assisting students with national scholarships.
