To “Be” or Not to “Be”
Each year as school begins, 8th grade English students in Mrs. Schulte’s classes are asked the question: What should you be? Their responses are typically adjectives that describe themselves in a positive way. This year’s group had an extra challenge. After viewing the finished collage multiple times, students who could find the one pronoun that worked, three sets of doubles, and one misspelled word were given a reward. All in all, it’s a great way to review parts of speech, instill creativity, and encourage positive behaviors! Looks like it’s going to “BE” an awesome year!
