Paul Lewis's science class using the new VR glasses with Google Expedition. They were exploring the circulatory system today and will explore the muscular, respiratory and digestive systems later in the week.
The VR glasses for Google Expedition were one of the technology grants awarded this year by North Branch Area Schools. Kerry Rose and Cindy Lewis wrote the grant for the VR glasses to be used in K-5 classrooms. Students can explore everything from body systems, to foreign countries, to historical landmarks. Google Expedition has allowed students to explore outside the walls of the classroom while being guided by their teacher.
