LET’S GO BACK TO OUR VILLAGE
Nazarköy, formerly known
as Kurudere, has been a
village for more than 60
years, providing bead
workshops and
subsistence. But the fate of
the village changed four
years ago by an
entrepreneur headman.
Mehmet YİĞİT became the
mayor of the village and
started the change with
the villagers. The first job
was to change the name of
the village Afterwards, he
founded the Tradesmen
Cooperative and organized
small wooden sales stands,
the Boncuk Festival, which
he has been organizing
since 4 years.
