Meta Major : A broad category of study . There are eight ( 8 ) Academic Pathways ( or Meta Majors ) defined by the State of Florida ; and our programs are organized in these pathways .

Each Meta-Major Pathway has identified Gateway Courses in English and Mathematics - the first courses that provide transferable , college-level credit which allow students to progress in their program of study .
TRANSFER OPPORTUNITIES : START HERE , GO ANYWHERE !
After earning an associate ’ s degree , students can stay at EFSC and earn a Bachelor ’ s Degree or transfer to another institution . EFSC has various agreements with schools around the state that guarantee transfer . Transfer is also available out of state - check with the school first .
Students can stay close to home and earn a four-year degree at EFSC .
Guarantees admission to UCF with an Associate Degree ( A . A .) or articulated ( A . S .) Degree .
Florida ’ s 2 + 2 Program allows students to transition seamlessly from a state college to a state university .
Dual-admission program designed to help Florida high school graduates pursue an AA Degree from EFSC followed directly by a Bachelor ’ s Degree at Florida Tech .
