YOUR SENIOR CHECKLIST

FALL

TESTING

If you haven ’ t done so already , register for , and take , a college placement test like the SAT or ACT .
• All degree-seeking students must complete an Assessment Test in order to take college courses at EFSC .
• Acceptable tests are SAT , ACT , PERT or ACCUPLACER NG , Digital SAT , Classical Learning Test and etc . ( scores must be less than two years old ).
• Bring your SAT or ACT login password to the Admissions Office for assistance with downloading your official placement scores OR request that scores be sent directly to EFSC .
• Test scores will help determine your level of college readiness . Check out the cut-off scores currently used for placement .
• EFSC offers the PERT test free of charge . Visit easternflorida . edu / go / test to make an appointment .
• There are some exceptions to the testing requirement . Check out information about placement testing exemptions and remediation .

FAFSA

Complete and submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid ( FAFSA ) at fafsa . gov as soon as possible . If you ’ re planning to attend the Fall semester after graduation , you ’ ll be completing the 2024-2025 FAFSA .
• FAFSA requires social security numbers for both you and your parent or legal guardian .
• You ’ ll need your own personal email address to complete the FAFSA . This email must be different from your parent or legal guardian ’ s email address .
• The 2024-2025 FAFSA requires 2022 tax returns .
• The school code for EFSC is 001470 .
