You can also see oyster recruitment on the shell bags and stakes that had been installed on the waterside of the coir log treatment in 2016 near the water ’ s edge . ( Right ) the progression of the site on May 2019 one year after planting . Additional stakes were placed in the sediment which allowed for the recruitment of oysters . ( SCDNR , 2019 ).
